I. HISTORY
~we were officially friends way back in high school, in a school full of memories. It all started in John Hay when trails are still open for public strolling. Chain of events followed as we decided that whoever joined the semi-hike at white trail will be one barkada. Since then, we started spending time together. Kahit hindi kami seatmates, we would group ourselves in only one row. Having such an ideal group with different and extreme personalities, we enjoyed each other's company since lahat kami ay may TOPAK. We love to bug each other, even teachers and other students. We have fun laughing our hearts out at anything... things are just so easy, problems disappear kapag magkakasama kami. May mga loveteams na papalit-palit...na ngayon ay tinatawanan nalang namin. Nandun ung mga tripping sa pag-mo-model sa hallway na pinapagalitan pa kami ng teachers. Mga away between mga katropa tungkol sa maliliit na dahilan. There were days when we would hang-out or spend time during shortened periods, watch movies during weekends, review together during exams (na feeling namin, hindi kami lalo nakakareview). May mga nag transfer sa ibang places before we reached our junior and senior years. We were at the edge of breaking apart then since we have different sections. But still, friendship has always its way of keeping us together that though we had different schools in college, we were hanging on. Proud kami sa isa't-isa and we will always be here for each other through better or worse, bugging each other, complementing each other and keeping the spirit of Kabaliwan within us forever~(http://profiles.friendster.com/8887749)
II. AT NGAYON...

After so many years of being in our own bubble, doing our own stuff, it still surprises me that these people whom I got to be with still finds it way to remind me that "we still exist you know, we're here to make you sane, we're here to snap you if you need to get your mind together, we're here to back you up. WE ARE HERE. PERIOD. "
Out of the blue, like for 6 years to be exact, someone just texts you "meng, online ka, conference tayo" or someone just leaves you a message "meng, nalulungkot ako, sad ako.. etc etc", same goes with me "bes, i need to talk to you, kaith, musta na?"... then you realize these people were the ones who knew you inside out, who accepted you despite you having a crack on the head, who embraced you despite you having imperfections and misgivings, WHO LOVED YOU INSPITE OF EVERYTHING... I have to admit though that we weren't there for each other during the toughest times (I mean, we have our own lives right now: work, school, being out of the country, etc.) but I still believe that we will still be there for better or for worse... so guys,
