DINUGO AKO...

Ng alin? Ng DevC 208 pa rin na subject. Haish! Anyway, so pinadala na namin via JRS ung mga ibang proposals, walastik, for 18 proposals eh P 1320.00 na ang gastos... huwahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! Since ako ang head ng finance committee, mega tawad as in.. dinaan na nga naming ni Pam sa charm para magkadiscount eh... anyway... mababawi rin namin... (fingers crossed)...

There is always a theory behind every action, every word. Actually, we just had a run down nung mga dating theories like Berlo’s SMCRE, Shannon and Weaver, George Gerbner, etc... but the meat of the this subject is the 7 TRADITIONS OF COMMUNICATION written by Robert T. Craig – eto. Yan ang tinutukoy ko from my previous entries na super duper ang utak. Grabe, can you imagine him trying to integrate the theories to make it more coherent? Grabe ang utak nitong tao na ito. Eh ung libro pa man din eh super duper noseblood ang terms.. Haish!

Anyway, so ang topic namin today was about the RHETORIC TRADITION... ang nahighlight bale is PERSUASIVENESS... ganyan, ayon kay Jea (ang reporter of the day) “Rhetoric is the faculty of observing in any given case the available means of persuasion,” so anong mga examples nito public speaking, debate, oration, declamation… even the simplest means of “courting” is actually associated with rhetorics be it verbal or written… though we may not be conscious, this tradition is evident in our everyday lives…

The Rhetoric tradition has three proofs… (winner ito!): ETHOS (credibility), PATHOS (emotional appeal), LOGOS (reasoning)… an example given that covers the three proofs is…. TADAN.. Jun Lozada ayan…

Actually, this tradition is evident in advertising.. Frustrating.. hahaha. Now you know the “tradition” of persuasion..

Sana may natutunan kayo today.. hehehe… actually, mahaba pa yang report na iyan… LIFE IS A DRAMA…

O xa, friends, till here muna.. bukas is NOODLE DAY… sana ayos ang topic ulit…
